HAITIAN EARTHQUAKE RECOVERY

Since 1996 the Band, as we call them, has been traveling the US on tours to thank you for the support you have generously donated in all you do in La Romana.  The summer after Katrina they went to New Orleans to help rebuild. (They said it was hotter than La Romana)

They have always had a project at the hospital or in the bateys where they donated some of the proceeds of the tour.  Each person pays their own way to come and play for you.  Just like we do when we go to La Romana.  This year the goal for the tour is $35,000.  ALL of the proceeds have been promised to purchase and install the elevator at the hospital.

In 2007 we started this project by constructing the elevator shaft.  You may have help out.  Now we need to complete the work started two years ago.  Please plan to attend a concert near you and please write a generous check for the entertainment, fun, and friendship you will have that evening.                 Thank you.
