HAITIAN EARTHQUAKE RECOVERY

Below is a summary to date of where your money has been put to use aiding the people of Port-au-Prince.  Providing food has used more than 75% of the money you have donated.  The 13% used for medicines is somewhat misleading. 

While only $5,300.00 of your money has been used to purchase medicine and supplies that doesn’t take into account the more than $70,000.00 of antibiotics, pain killers, bandages and other medical supplies that have been used.

The $48,000.00 used to purchase food has supplied 70,000 meals since the earthquake.  Kristy’s plan is to provide food and water for the next six weeks.  The cost of extending this program is $80,000.00 and will provide an additional 65,000 meals.

Donations received to date will provide for over 80% of the meals needed.
