Capital One Credit Card company offers a program for nonprofit organizations where the nonprofit is paid a percentage of the total card charges.  This payment does not cost the card holder any money out of their pocket but it does use the ‘rewards’ points that would otherwise accumulate to the card holder.  If you are willing to for go your points to help out the Good Sam hospital then I encourage you to apply for the Good Samaritan Mission Council Capital One Platinum Vista credit card.  There are no fees required to apply.

Please apply for the card right now.  With your first purchase using the card, Capital One will donate $50.00 to the hospital.  1% of your total purchases will be donated there after.

Interest on any unpaid monthly balance has also been waived from now through October 2010.

NOTE:

On the Capital One web site the reward for the first time you use the card is stated as $25.00.  GSMC is one of a limited number of non-profit organizations that has been selected for the $50.00 reward.

Three cards have been designed for you to select from.  If you would like you can design your own card with the image of your choice.  This is done through Capital One’s ‘Cardlab’ web site.
